As President of the Data Products Division, Colette Bellefleur is responsible for managing and maintaining the world's largest commercially available database of economic information, which also includes an extensive collection of financial data. Her mission is to ensure that Global Insight's databases contain the relevant content required by the ever-changing global economic and financial environment. In addition, she is responsible for maintaining the highest standards for the quality and integrity of Global Insight's data products, as data is the cornerstone of our forecasting, consulting, and historical data businesses.
An economist by training, Bellefleur has held several positions at Global Insight including group managing director of the Financial and Economic Information division, where she was responsible for data operations and software product development. Prior to the formation of Global Insight, Bellefleur joined WEFA in 2000, after 20 years in the financial information services industry, where she ran successful data and software businesses at Chase Econometrics/Interactive Data, Telekurs Financial, and FW Dodge/McGraw Hill.
Bellefleur holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Marketing and a Master of Science in Economics and Operations Research from Rutgers University.
