As Executive Vice President, Content and Markets, Priscilla Trumbull is responsible for oversight of all Global Insight product content, content management processes, and systems, and the timely and accurate delivery of content to clients via the company Web site and printed publications. She serves as Executive Director of the company's Web site steering committee and is responsible for the day-to-day management and further development of the site. She is also responsible for the oversight of the corporate marketing function, corporate development, and company-wide sales systems and policies. She also serves as Executive Director of the Operations Review Group, which meets weekly to coordinate company operations, and the Operating Committee, which meets monthly to review company results and strategy.
Trumbull previously held the position of chief operating officer of Global Insight's Analysis and Forecasting Division, where she was responsible for managing the economic analysis businesses of the company. Prior to the formation of Global Insight, Trumbull was chief operating officer at WEFA, one of the companies that was brought together to form the current organization. She joined WEFA in 1978, and moved up from the company's entry-level economist position through various levels of responsibility and content specialties to her current executive role. This progression made her an expert in the quantitative and qualitative aspects of ongoing content research and consulting; well acquainted with the client base; and experienced in the daily business management of the company.
Trumbull's research has been focused on the application of economic information to business decisions. She has done extensive research in industry analysis and its relevance to business budgeting and planning, investment decisions, and risk management. In addition, she has worked with many clients to evaluate the impact of worldwide industry and economic scenarios on company customer profiles and markets. Trumbull was the editor of the first two editions of the WEFA Industrial Monitor, published by John Wiley & Sons.
Trumbull holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Delaware, and has pursued graduate coursework in econometrics at the University of Pennsylvania. |
